We finally have a 2010 World Series Match-up and it’s one that Major League Baseball is quietly sulking about.

Texas Rangers vs. San Fransisco Giants

Sure, the talent on the field is definitely there, especially in the pitching, but the ratings are likely going to be a disaster.  Two essential small market teams, one of which was hitting bankruptcy to start the season.

As a die-hard Mets fan, I am very happy to see the Phillies lose, as well as the Yankees.  As a die-hard baseball fan, I am excited about this match-up for the fact that some of the best baseball this postseason was played by the Giants/Rangers players.

The hobby aspect of the top players are strong on the market and we can expect them to continue rising.  Leading the way are AL MVP candidate Josh Hamilton, NL Cy Young candidate Tim Lincecum, AL Cy Young Candidate Cliff Lee, and NL ROY candidate Buster Posey.  The two cards pcitured above, which come from 2007 Upper Deck Black are selling extremely well for manufactured patch autographs.
